Construction security
We provide qualified CSCS security officers on all our construction sites. All officers will be issued with full PPE before the contract starts with a full security audit and risk assessment being carried out.
Our aims when working on this type of contract is the security of the site (prevent squatters) protection of materials and plant, making sure all personnel working on site are compliant with Health and Safety regulations and prevention of out-of-hours Health and Safety issues and prevention of unauthorised access.
Access control services

Our security officers will control the flow of staff and visitors both inside offices (from Reception) and outside (usually from both) on university campuses, factory sites, warehousing units, industrial parks, hospitals – anywhere where there is a large movement of people who need to be verified.
Key holding and alarm response
Key holding and alarm response is a simple, easy and cost-effective security solution for companies wishing to secure their premises without risking their staff. The benefit of the service is that it removes the need for any staff to respond to an intruder alert, fire or CCTV alarm activation during the night.
With our Key Holding service In the event of an intruder break-in or the activation of an alarm at your premises, Oceanic Security Services will respond immediately, dispatching one of our local units. Our fully trained officer will check the premises for signs of an intruder and if a false alarm will reset the security system.
In the event of a break-in, they will escalate the incident to the Police and a nominated member of your staff, even arrange emergency repairs if required. Our officer will remain on site until your premises are secured.
Static guarding
Oceanic Security Services offers a wide range of manned guarding services, including industrial, warehousing, corporate offices and construction.
Manned guarding is an excellent visual deterrent against casual theft or vandalism, both inside and outside the business.
Car parking services
Oceanic Security Services provides car parking services to clients in both the public and the private sectors. In addition, our security officers carry out regular patrols of the premises and keep records of any occurrence outside the norm to ensure your business stays safe and secure.
Our security officers may be used for the evening, weekend or out-of-hours cover or daytime Reception duties. Whatever the schedule, we are committed to providing as requested, all our officers working on the premises will be fully trained and aware of any particular challenges the site may present.
All our officers are fully vetted and operate to the standards of the Manned Guarding Code of Practice.
Mobile security and patrolling
Our mobile patrol service is a cost-effective, efficient alternative to the presence of a static security officer. This service suits businesses that want to maintain a level of security and safety at their premises during evenings and weekends, but do not have the requirement for a static security officer at these times.
With Oceanic Security Services, all visits to the premises are computer recorded and are arranged at irregular times so avoiding a noticeable pattern that could be exploited by criminals. The mobile patrols, therefore, serve not only as a deterrent but can also be extremely helpful in the early detection of any possible issues, for example, windows left open by staff or alarm malfunctions.
To verify the patrols have been correctly undertaken, a patrol monitoring system is installed at the premises and reports are downloaded and forwarded to clients regularly.

All Oceanic Security Services mobile patrol officers are subject to the same vetting standards and undertake the same training as our static security officers. Additionally, they are licensed by the Security Industry Authority under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 or operate within the SIA-approved contractor scheme
Retail security services
Oceanic Security Services specialise in providing high-quality licensed security officers to the retail sector. All our officers are highly trained in the legal requirements for retail security. They also understand electronic security devices (such as Sensormatic tags) and how to utilise such systems to prevent theft or apprehend shoplifters.
We offer a wide range of retail security services including door supervisors, uniformed shop-floor security officers (to deter and apprehend shoplifters), plain-clothed store detectives, secret shoppers (to test customer service levels and staff honesty) as well as stockroom and head office security.
All our staff are trained in incident management such as bomb threats, fire alarms and raids as well as with customer services issues such as abusive or potentially violent customers.
Concierge services
We also provide security officers for Reception duties and provide a complete concierge service to many clients. Concierge services offered include: full Reception duties, visitor screening, regulating visitor parking, managing incoming and outgoing mail, checking plant and electrical equipment as well as monitoring electrical appliances (for environmental and cost-saving), and patrolling premises, inside and outside, day and night.

Oceanic Security Services operate The Portable Electronic Sensor (PES), based on respected iButton technology – this is a robust time and location capturing device capable of monitoring employee movements at predetermined locations throughout a client site or area.
The PES offers an added element of control, ensuring that your employees are in the right place at the right time — a cast iron guarantee to your clients that sites are completely manned and monitored throughout the areas they require coverage for.
All reports are word-based so they can be e-mailed directly to our clients on a weekly, monthly or another specified period.
